Christian Certified means that products have been prepared in accordance with what is acceptable under Christian dietary requirements. Ensuring that consumers of these products can have confidence in the fact that animals and products used have not partaken in religious rituals or sacrifices to any non Christian Gods.
Our logo displayed on a product or a certificate displayed in store will confirm that Christian Certification Authority has inspected manufacturing sites and company’s have been accepted and follow guidelines that define the Christian Certified criteria . The certification system guarantees that products will meet or exceed Christian standards.
These standards include that :
- All products are to be safe.
- All products are food authority and or haccp compliant.
- Products are prepared in hygienic facilities.
- All products are prepared in a safe environment.
- Products are produced with Christian involvement or supervision where applicable.
- Animals have been stunned and rendered unconscious prior to the slaughter process .
- Products produced have not been consecrated by prayers to non Christian Gods or idols.
Also CCA will ensure that all products bearing our logo will comply with the religious, spiritual and moral values held by all who follow the Christian faith.
We are strongly opposed to the in humane treatment of animals through religious slaughtering techniques used in todays market for domestic and offshore sale and believe that every person should have the right to give thanks in accordance with their beliefs according to their preferred faith at time of consumption and not before hand. As this is not the case CCA has an obligation to ensure that products have been also prepared in a manner that is acceptable for the Christian community.
